Malaysia Biochar 2010: 1 day Workshop hosted by the University of Kuala Lumpur

Following the success of "Biochar Malaysia Workshop 2009" organised by UPM and MOSTI, coupled with the steadily growing interest in this emerging field, the Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) is pleased to announce that another opportunity to share knowledge and network is at hand. UniKL MICET is organising a 1-day workshop on the 25th of March and cordially invites attendees. 

The 1 day workshop will cover many aspects of biochar, including production, characterization, and application. The event will feature speakers Dr R.T. Bachmann of the University of KL, Dr Gerard Cornelissen of the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) and the Swedish Institute of Applied Environmental Research (ITM), Dr Sarah E. Hale a postdoctoral researcher at NGI (Norway), and Trevor Richards an environmental services consultant and contractor based in Malaysia.
