Register today for three days of engaging speakers and content and immersive networking with hundreds of other participants. Your ticket includes access to our exhibit hall, exclusive opportunities with our sponsors, and recordings of all content.
(Early Bird registration will be live for a limited time!)
The Program:
Every day, make sure to take a (virtual) stroll around the Trade Show Expo. Interested in exhibiting at the trade show? Contact Mehdeen Abbasi for details.
Day 1 Scaling Pathway: Funding & Investment
You’ll begin the Symposium with a keynote from Robert Höglund, an advisor in carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and climate impact. Then, you will explore how the biochar industry is accessing the funding it needs to grow: via private investment, via the carbon market, via government and grant funding, and via producing and selling co-products.
Day 2 Scaling Pathway: Market Development
Return on Day 2 to explore sectors that biochar is already engaged with — agriculture, water filtration, and solid waste management. Then, you will learn about emerging sectors, particularly around non-agricultural, non-soil biochar end markets, as well as industries on the horizon that are developing.
The second day will end with a pitch competition judged by private investors!
Day 3 Scaling Pathway: More Research Needed + Bringing it All Together
The final day will focus on two main tracks:
- “More Research Needed” will cover the state of key research topics tied to industry growth, including carbon permanence in biochar, biochar economic analysis, and other topics.
- “Bringing it All Together” will finish up the Symposium with multiple opportunities to network and connect with fellow attendees, event sponsors, speakers, and trade show exhibitors about the wealth of topics covered over the three days.
