Biochar Resilience Network: From Isolated Trials to Shared Knowledge
Biochar field trials are taking place across many regions. Much of the resulting data remains fragmented, difficult to access, and rarely comparable across projects. This slows learning, increases the cost of experimentation, and limits the ability of producers and companies to make informed decisions.
The Biochar Resilience Network explores creating a pre-competitive Data Commons where anonymized results from biochar field trials are shared and compared across geographies, feedstocks, and production systems.
This webinar will introduce the initiative and present the emerging platform designed to host and explore these datasets. The discussion will also examine how shared data reduces trial duplication, accelerates learning among producers, and supports evidence-based adoption of biochar in agricultural systems.
