IBI is proud to offer a more affordable option for membership to LMIC countries, with the same benefits as the Professional tier. As of 2025, we require interested parties to apply for this membership tier.

For Expired Memberships:
Members can still log in to the Members Hub. Once in the Members Portal, they should navigate to the Account tab, then click on Subscriptions, select Subscribe, and finally choose their preferred payment method.
For Active Memberships Near Expiration:
Members should log in to their account and go to the Account tab. From there, they can click on Subscriptions, select Renew, and then choose their payment option.
Yes, you can manually change your membership between tiers.
Yes. IBI now requires an application form to individuals, students, organizations, and companies who are seeking a Low Middle Income Country (LMIC) membership.
Whether you are seeking to renew an existing LMIC membership, or sign up for a new one, the process looks like the following:
- Fill out the application form
- If any supporting documents are missing, you will be notified and given up to 5 business days to provide them.
- Receive approval or rejection from IBI (based on eligibility criteria and demonstration of need).
- If approved, you will receive an email with payment details.
