Announcing Reciprocal Memberships Between IBI and the Italian Biochar Association
The International Biochar Initiative (IBI) and the Italian Biochar Association (ICHAR) are entering a new phase of collaboration — one rooted in reciprocal membership and shared community.
This next step builds on years of working together and a common goal: strengthening the global biochar ecosystem by linking international perspectives with strong regional leadership.
What does this mean in practice?
IBI members and ICHAR members will have mutual access to each other’s communities, resources, and learning spaces.
Over the coming months, IBI and ICHAR will work together to:
- Explore joint educational initiatives
- Strengthen direct connections between our member communities
- Create added value for members on both sides through shared opportunities
For members, this reciprocal approach opens the door to deeper exchange and collective learning, starting with Italy as a key anchor.
