In September, we hosted the first IBI Study Tour in Switzerland, in partnership with Carbon Standards International!
We had the opportunity to visit the most innovative businesses in the Swiss biochar field, with around 70 participants from all around the world.
In addition to visiting the following outstanding establishments — the wood-fired power plant of Bioenergie Frauenfeld; the agricultural company Jucker Farm (Spargelhof) in Rafz ZH; the biochar manufacturer Inkoh AG in Maienfeld; the KLARK climate-neutral concrete producer Logbau AG in Maienfeld; and the new sawmill resurses in the canton of Graubünden – we were privileged to delve into presentations and insights from experts representing a wide array of perspectives on the subject of biochar.
The international biochar conference at the headquarters of Carbon Standards International AG in Frick, which also addressed questions regarding carbon sinks, the Global Artisan C-Sink, and Global Cooling Services, successfully concluded the study tour content-wise.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those involved and participating for their unwavering commitment, openness, and the passion and time they contributed to making this tour an exciting and unifying experience.
