The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) of the United States continues its webinar series with a presentation on What Makes a Biorefinery Carbon Negative? Our webinars are your opportunity to directly engage with SACE staff and learn about emerging clean energy technologies, opportunities and issues that SACE engages in everyday. SACE is excited to use this technology as a way to connect with our members and share the most up-to-date advances in the clean energy field.

For the late March webinar, SACE bioenergy program staffer John Bonitz will be joined by two expert practitioners — Dan Burciaga with TRI, Inc., an accomplished biorefinery developer, and Dr Richard Perritt with the NC Farm Center for Innovation and Sustainability.  Mr Burciaga will describe his company’s Durham NC facility that demonstrates gasification for biofuel and other valuable products. Dr Perritt will describe his experience in rebuilding soils using biochar, a byproduct of bioenergy.  We invite you to join us on March 31 from noon to 1:00 PM for a briefing and open discussion.
