Mike Werner

Mike Werner has been the Chief Executive Officer at Qualterra Inc. for over 4 years.  Qualterra’s mission is to deliver resilient agriculture solutions that integrate environmental and economic impacts. Qualterra is dedicated to revolutionizing the way we nourish the planet while preserving its delicate balance. Through innovative approaches in plant propagation, molecular diagnostics, biomass processing, and biochar production, we improve humankind’s potential to regenerate and optimize agricultural systems.

Prior to his time with Qualterra, he spent 5 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of a software companies focused on fintech, sales enablement solutions, and digital marketing. Much of Mike’s career has been spent building businesses and partnerships in agriculture, software, venture capital, real estate/asset management, and pharmaceutical/biotech industries. He has served in a diverse set of leadership roles including sales, marketing, training, finance, human resources, and executive leadership. Mike has a passion for spending time with his family, skiing, fly fishing, cooking, and hiking.
