Hi all, I’m Lauren. I’m the communications lead at IBI, so you’ll see my name a lot here in this space to help moderate and build value here.

I’m based in Minnesota in the US. I’ve been with IBI since 2023, working on all things communications for the organization. When I’m not wearing my IBI hat, I also own a communications and design studio that works with climate organizations.

One of the topics I’d love to explore in this space is how we continue to normalize awareness of biochar through accessible marketing and messaging.

I love hiking, growing heirloom vegetables, and traveling to new parks and cities. I’m also a very avid reader, so any book recommendations are always welcome!
