Figured this one belongs here because I know this community has been talking about exactly this problem for ages: we all run trials, but nobody can compare notes at scale.

Next Thursday (April 23) there’s a webinar introducing the Biochar Resilience Network (Data commons platform) and — here’s the part that caught my attention — the idea of a pre-competitive Data Commons for anonymized field trial data. So basically, all of us get to learn faster from each other without anyone having to hand over proprietary secrets.

Which, let’s be honest, is how biochar finally gets from “promising” to “scaled.”
