We’re sharing a procurement opportunity from IBI member Prolade, a sustainable palm oil producer based in Tabasco, Mexico. They’ve opened a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the turnkey design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a Puro.earth-compatible biochar production plant, processing oil palm residues — empty fruit bunches (EFB) and palm fiber — at a target input capacity of ~3 t/h.

What they’re looking for:

• Pelletized feedstock preferred — pyrolysis systems designed to work best with pelletized biomass
• Direct EFB pyrolysis also accepted — for suppliers without pelletizing experience
• Bonus: suppliers who can also quote pelletizing machinery, or refer a trusted partner who does

Submission is phased, and partial responses are welcome — you don’t need every detail ready to get started:

• Phase 1 (due August 10, 2026): company profile, feedstock references, recommended solution, indicative price range and schedule — a complete Phase 1 alone is enough to be shortlisted
• Phase 2 (target August 21, 2026): technical proposal
• Phase 3 (target September 4, 2026): firm commercial offer

Submissions in English, quoted in USD, valid for 30 days from submission.
