The Austrian Biochar Day serves as a platform for scientific exchange and the discussion of current developments in the field of biochar – the focus is on the latest findings from research and practice as well as international trends. The offer is aimed at representatives from science, industry, politics and administration as well as associations, authorities and decision-makers from Austria as well as internationally.
We invite you to present your research results, projects or application examples. Contributions should address the following topics:
- Climate Protection & Negative Emissions: Role of Biochar in Carbon Capture and Climate Neutrality
- Production Technologies: Innovations in the Production of Biochar and Green Carbon
- Circular Economy: Integration of Biochar into Sustainable Material Flow Systems
- Applications in Materials: Biochar in Building Materials, Materials and Metallurgical Processes
- Agriculture & Environment: Use of Biochar in Agriculture and in environmental technologies
Contributions are welcome in English as well as in German.
