This ninth edition of the Biochar School will focus on the systemic dimension of biochar technologies: from feedstock sourcing to end-use integration, from certification schemes to policy frameworks.

In 1.5 days of concentrated, high-level training, participants will experience:

  • Expert lectures from international researchers, ICHAR members and industry pioneers
  • Case studies on agriculture, materials, climate strategies, and carbon markets
  • Workshops and dialogues on regulatory pathways, biochar systems design and innovation
  • Networking sessions to connect science, business and policy communities

Ichar – Italian Biochar Association is the national reference body for research, certification and promotion of biochar processes&technologies in Italy since 2009.
